Komen for the Cure foundation. Wendy Walker also received a $1,000 donation for her Breast Cancer 3-Day team. Walker says, “Breast Cancer had not really touched me personally, until a friend and neighbor was diagnosed with it in October 2007.  This young mother of two had a double mastectomy in November, has undergone chemotherapy and now radiation.  I wanted to do something to give back…in her honor, so I started a team of walkers in our hometown of Prosper, for the 3 Day Walk benefiting Susan G.
