New Kid in Town: Welcoming Elysa Rice to Our Team
06/09 When other companies are cutting back and enforcing hiring freezes we are excited to welcome additional members to our team. The start of June marked the beginning of a new phase of Ellipse Communications. We are now proud to call ourselves a full service marketing company. We were previously in the PR and advertising arenas and now we are adding marketing and social media to our toolbox. We are excited to welcome Elysa Rice with her background in design, marketing and social media. Elysa began her career as a graphic/web designer and learned marketing as a tool to drive traffic to newly launched websites. We are looking forward to implementing her marketing knowledge both in house and for our clients. Recently Elysa spoke in The Big Design Conference on Social Media in the Youth Markets. Elysa is a gen y blogger and very connected to the growing online community of twenty something tech savvy social media enthusiasts. Elysa says about joining us "I am excited to join the team at Ellipse because they already have a great product and company and it's my job to have the world know about us. There is a powerhouse team hidden away in this little building in Dallas. We will be blazing trails in the multifamily industry." With NAA only days away we are getting fired up around here for all of the new additions to the company and services we are offering to our clients.

3/09 - Chris Finetto survived his first week at Ellipse, after accepting the position of VP of Business Development last week. Chris' most recent executive position within the Multifamily industry included being VP of Vendor Operations at Riverstone Residential and VP of Operations at Alliance Residential, Inc. We are thrilled to obtain and engage his solid business experiences from both the management and vendor side of our industry, along with his incredible knack for insightful, straight talking management communications. We believe Chris will elevate Ellipse's presence with his wide portfolio of professional contacts and the highly held regard for his position within our industry. 9/08 - Ellipse would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the attendees of the 2008 National Apartment Association (NAA) Annual Education Conference and Expo for their donations totaling over $2,600 and Linda Hoffman of Multifamily Professional Magazine who provided Ellipse a $500 check. With their assistance, Ellipse was able to donate $9,000 to the National Center for Victims of Crime in memory of Steve Swan and Matthew Butler.

Ellipse Remembers Steve Swan and Matthew Butler
6/08 - At 1:30 am, Thursday June 19, 2008, two young men were violently and senselessly murdered in front of their recording studio in Garland, TX. These energetic, bright and caring individuals were Matthew Butler, the sole child of Ellipse's Executive Assistant, Theresa Butler, and father of two young children, and Steve Swan, Senior Security Engineer at Ellipse. Though our hearts and minds are with their families at this time of deep sorrow, members of our own corporate family will not let them have died in vain as we turn attention to what happens after a tragic crime. Ellipse continues to support Breast Cancer Awareness in 2008
4/08 - Ellipse continues to support breast cancer awareness with a $2,500 donation to the Dallas Chapter of the Executive Woman's Golf Association's (EWGA) Rally for the Cure Golf Tournament supporting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. Wendy Walker also received a $1,000 donation for her Breast Cancer 3-Day team. Walker says, “Breast Cancer had not really touched me personally, until a friend and neighbor was diagnosed with it in October 2007. This young mother of two had a double mastectomy in November, has undergone chemotherapy and now radiation. I wanted to do something to give back…in her honor, so I started a team of walkers in our hometown of Prosper, for the 3 Day Walk benefiting Susan G.
